FP002 - MINI-WORKSHOPS
COURSE OUTLINE: FP002 - Mini Workshops
Each mini-workshop focuses on a different aspect of photography.
- You experience a variety of different workshop themes.
- Occasionally, an extra outing will be held on the Saturday after the monthly evening workshop.
- A Certificate of Accomplishment will be issued for every 10 mini-workshops attended.
At every workshop, a winning photo is chosen by the students and the coach, from the previous workshop. The photographer of the winning photo can attend the next workshop for free. The winning photo will also be showcased on this website.
COURSE DATES AND TIMES

Evening Classes
- 18h00 - 21h00 Practical
- 21h00 - 22h00 Discussion and judging of the previous month's images.
Saturday Morning (when applicable)
- 10h00 - 13h00
PREREQUISITES
- Register for this course by filling in the course registration form HERE.
- Students must bring the following:
- Their own camera equipment
- Spare film / memory cards (if required)
- Spare accessories (e.g. batteries, chargers, etc.)
- Camera's instruction manuals
- Own notebook and writing instruments
COSTS
- (STANDARD RATE) R250-00 per student per workshop. Payable in advance.
- (DISCOUNT RATE) R100-00 for any student who enrolled for Course FP101 -Freelance Analogue or FP102 - Freelance Digital.
EXTRA COSTS
Additional costs for excursions, models, props etc. may apply from time to time. By their nature, these costs vary, and are dependant on circumstances. These costs are usually equally split among the attendees of the workshop, and are payable at the start of the workshop. Every effort is made by the photography coach to inform the class of these costs at least one day before the workshop starts.

Smoke, Fireball and Time Lapse Photography: (Level: Beginner)
Come and enjoy an evening of fun and pleasure while learning tricks of capturing images of smoke, as well as a fireball. We will also be doing time-lapse photography.
